The Orphan Project brings vitamins and school supplies to orphanages around the world. Because shipping costs to third world countries are expensive and supplies are often stolen or never delivered, Loving & Caring partners with groups going on mission trips to deliver these much-needed supplies. Loving & Caring has sent supplies to over 20 countries, and has traveled into the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Sierra Leone so far in 2011.

Interested in donating supplies to the Orphan Project? An area we are always in need of is children’s vitamins. (Please no gummy vitamins, they need to be able to withstand the heat of travel and to survive in very hot countries.) Other items we collect are: Children’s Tylenol, Band-Aids, toothpaste, children’s toothbrushes, backpacks (to pack supplies in), pencils, pens, portable non electric pencil sharpeners, tablets of drawing paper, and tablets of lined paper.
