Each month Jim will be posting a new message about the importance of fatherhood!

I’ve been a father to two beautiful daughters, three lovely granddaughters, and over 200 young women that we’ve welcomed into our home over the years.  Here are five rules I’ve learned about being a good father:

1.  Love Jesus

2.  Spend time with your family

3.  Be open

4.  Support Mom

5.  Be willing to change

I want to see families spend more family time together than busy time.  I want to see churches become more aware of the fatherless in our country, and in their own churches.

I can never emphasize the importance of fathers enough.  Our world, our countries, and our homes need fathers so much.  If there’s anything we can do to bring fatherhood back, I want to be a part of it—an important part!
